Test certificates anchored at issue and verifiable by any downstream buyer from a QR code, without exposing price or counterparty terms.
The challenge
Forged and edited mill certificates were circulating in the trading chain. Buyers were emailing the mill to confirm authenticity, which took days, and the mill had no way to prove a document was unaltered once it left.
What we did
Each certificate is hashed and anchored at issue, with the mill signing its own entry; commercial terms stay in private data collections. A buyer scans the QR and gets authenticity and tamper status in under two seconds without contacting anyone. Verification requests to the mill's quality team fell away almost entirely.
